We are grateful to those who came to support our students from Turkey and Syria at the vigil at ODU last night. We wish more people could make it and show their support. Please continue lifting up the students and community from Turkey and Syria.
This vigil was organized by ODU Global Student Friendship (under the coordination of Elham Alijanpour, the Director for Special Events) and made possible with the support from ODU Administration, ODU Student Engagement and Traditions Office, ODU English Language Center, University Chaplain Association at ODU, and student organizations: ODU Muslim Student Association, ODU Global Monarch Club.
We are also grateful to the presence of our friends and leaders of the Islamic Center at ODU and the Turkish American Religious Foundation- Virginia Masjid at the vigil.
