About Us
Old Dominion University's Global Student Friendship (GSF) is a student organization founded in 2005 by Dr. Kurnia Foe, a graduate student at the time. GSF is based on faith and supported by international students and faculty. It aims to assist scholars and students from various regions and cultures across the globe.

GSF collaborates with university authorities, faculty, staff, and other organizations to carry out its initiatives. Additionally, GSF partners with Global Friendship Ventures, a non-profit organization that connects local churches and charities, to help international students in the Hampton Roads region and beyond.
Life is a challenge; meet it! Life is a dream; realize it! Life is a game; play it! Life is love; enjoy it with family and friends!
Our Mission
The organization's mission is to transform strangers into companions, who could even turn into a family, by meeting their practical necessities and displaying unwavering love to them, regardless of their circumstances.
Global Student Friendship's goal is to provide international students, scholars, and their families with care and support through God's love.
