Furniture

The Furniture ministry has a mission to assist international students in finding suitable and comfortable living accommodations during their studies by accepting donations of new and used furniture from individuals, groups, and organizations. Once donations are received, the GSF team processes the requests from international students who require the furniture.

If the requested furniture is available, GSF arranges for the delivery of the items to the student's residence. The furniture is loaned free of charge to the student for their use during their studies. However, when the student no longer requires the furniture, GSF requests that they contact the organization to arrange a time for the furniture to be picked up by GSF volunteers.

The GSF program provides international students with an opportunity to have access to basic furniture items that they may not have been able to afford or bring with them when moving to a new country. By providing these items, the organization hopes to make the transition to living in a new place more comfortable and less stressful. Additionally, GSF encourages the community to get involved by donating furniture and volunteering their time to help deliver and pick up items.
